LEADSLOTH | WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2010 Eloqua Experience 2010 Eloqua is also taking a lesson from Salesforce.com’s playbook by making it easier to extend Eloqua with 3rd party applications. The Eloqua API (application programming interface) has been available for a long time already, but there was no easy way for campaign managers to incorporate 3rd party applications in their marketing programs. Another new product is Eloqua Discover for Salesforce.com. This is available from within Salesforce.com, and it is a native Force.com application available from the AppExchange. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MATRIX | THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2010 HubSpot Expands Its Services But Stays Focused on Small Business The company began with search engine optimization to attract traffic, and added landing pages, blogging, Web hosting, lead scoring, and Salesforce.com integration. It is now working on more robust outbound email, support for mobile Web pages, and APIs foroutside developers to create add-on applications. One distinct disadvantage is that most small business marketing automation systems offer their own low-cost alternative to Salesforce.com, while HubSpot does not.
