A simple little ^%$# stack overflow error I found on my blog when it's viewed in IE lead to me migrating my blog to Blogger Beta, a new template, a headache, 3 cups of coffee, 4 hours of sleep, and a pissed off wife. Here are some of my comments off the top as to why I hate Blogger Beta: Bugs, bugs, bugs and more bugs. Same crappy templates. thought - hey, maybe I'll change up my template as they must have new ones - right? whiz- bang technology it's the same old crappy templates minus all of the adjustments that I had made which took hours and hours.

You can add more circles in order to spur interest amongst your friends, but be sure you explicitly tell Google, through your willingness to share publicly, that they can index your content in their public search engine. If you use Blogger or Tumblr, you’ll need to hack the template, in which case you’ll need to hack in Google’s widget yourself.

Besides Blogger, I've used Wordpress.com and MSN Spaces (my fun blog). What I like about Blogger 2. What I don't like about Blogger 3. Should I move blog platforms to Wordpress or Typepad For now, I will look at why I like Blogger : It's free - no sign up fees or hosting fees (for now). It's owned by Google I - This means that Google is indexing your blog and promoting it as it's part of their overall offerings and to their advantage - especially if you use adsense. Available templates - There are many templates to choose from when you're getting started.
