Basically they suggest that Marketbright , Pardot , Marqui and ActiveConversion , are all pretty much comparable in market presence to Manticore and Market2Lead. I spoke with Marketbright and Pardot this week and connected with ActiveConversion some time ago. Here, the Alexa figures do provide some very helpful insights.

This keeps down the cost of ActiveConversion’s operations and therefore its prices, although of course marketers will have to pay someone else for their emails. There a few mid-sized vendors who didn’t make the report at all, including Act-On Software and ActiveConversion, which have about 300 clients each. But the pattern is so strong and so consistent that the general conclusions seem reliable. I’d guess these and other vendors add 1,000 to 2,000 to the total client count.
