Conversen supports email, mobile (SMS), RSS feeds such as blog posts, print, call center and Web. Conversen was introduced in 2007. Summary: Conversen makes it easy to generate dynamic messages across multiple channels. It's more a supplement than a replacement for conventional campaign management but should save a lot of work for marketers and their agencies.

Back in October of 2007 at a MarketingProfs conference I remember listening to a panel on how someone used a blog as their online news room . You can set up a Facebook Page for your business, use the Notes feature to upload all your press releases from your site automatically from your RSS feed (see chapter 5 of Facebook Marketing for Dummies ), add a bookmarking service like Del.icio.us The panel was run by David Armano and featured Todd Andrilik the director of marketing and PR, for Leopardo Construction, who was using WordPress as a online news room. By friending people, I can subscribe to a RSS feed to keep up to date on what's happening. OK - I previously wrote about how to manage my many online personalities  here and here .  Since those posts, I've reversed my previous position about my online reputation. The heart of it is managing relationships through the tools available to me.

A couple of months ago, we added RSS feeds to our press room , providing our website visitors an opportunity to receive updates about our company. Though it's important to syndicate/distribute news via RSS, I quickly realized that I needed to track this as well.
