Fidel Castro, the legendary communist leader died on Friday.  That is an event of epic proportions in world history.  It is being recognized by all world leaders.  Florence Henderson died as well. On a happier note, my alma mater of Notre Dame plays #12 USC at 3:30PM on ABC.  USC is very good this year so I don’t know how we will do. You will now find Find New Customers here. Jeff Ogden.

A Down Year for Notre Dame

Notre Dame is normally expected to win 8 or 9 games in a 12 game season.  Every game is on national TV and they have more Heisman trophy winners than any other school. But this year was way down as they finished the year at 4-8. My freshman year Joe Montana was our quarterback. The defense needs to be far better prepared to stop the triple option.  I have enormous respect for the Navy members.

I attended Notre Dame but they are struggling this year.  The football team is down, but next year may be better.  They play Army at 3:30pm on Saturday.  All home games are on NBC. Notre Dame is ranked number one in college basketball I learned recently. sure hope so.  My ND roommates are getting together on January to watch hoops and have a fun weekend.  That will be fun. Friday is Veterans Day, a time to remember the brave men and women who defended our country. We watched a movie called Hacksaw Ridge (video included) directed by Mel Gibson that featured a highly underestimated private that saved a great many men at Io Jima after a major battle there.   Badly understated he would not carry a gun for personal reasons.  His motto: Just one more. What do you think?

They defeated Army on Saturday 44- 16 and play ranked Virginia Tech tomorrow and USC, also ranked next Saturday.  Kind of sad to beat Army and it’s great traditions. Hopefully the wins will keep coming but I don’t know.  I am a Notre Dame grad.  Ironically, my mom asked me not to go there due to the cost and I said “I appreciate that but I will do my best to get a degree.” ” and I did do it.  Worked so much there during summers and school.  I got it done. also have a new iPhone 7 and I think Apple has revolutionized phone use using that phone.  BtoB Marketing

Notre Dame may have invented the game of football, but they have not won a championship since 1988. Knute Rockne in the 1920s created it and the movie Rudy , voted by ESPN as one of the best 25 sports movies, is about ND football and a struggling young man who trys and trys to get in.  It actually happened. This year is no different from earlier struggles.  They lost to Texas and Duke and one more.  They are 3-5 and fired their defensive coordinator, Brian Van Gorder. heard our hoops team is number one thank you very much. Can a former star come back?  Is ND finished forever?
